Procurement Market Analyst Intern - Budapest (Hungary) - Your future position?
Overall mission:
Take direction from the Source To Contract Team Managers and others in the Team on specific tasks.
Work together with the Business & Market Analytics and Procurement Excellence Teams to understand and document the existing automation solutions.
You will be located in Budapest and report to the Business & Market Analyst & Sourcing Senior Team Manager (#LI-Hybrid).
You will:
You will write meaningful, easy to understand and user-friendly documentation for non-coder and coder users to help them understand the functionalities of our script solutions (tools).
Create materials they need to use to troubleshoot the tools we have. These tools are created with Google Apps Script, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and VBA, so you need to have at least a basic understanding of these programming languages.
Besides this you also need to comment how the automated coding solutions are functioning, to write commentary for future automation specialists.
You will need to think with the user's head to help them by writing easy to understand, user-friendly explanations, also you will need to use reverse engineering logic to translate the already existing scripts.
For example, there is a tool that generates a single table using multiple data sources. Using the documentation, the user should easily find and understand the logic how a certain column in the output report is calculated. You will need to reverse engineer and explain how the tool creates that column.
This activity would take 90% of your time and requires an easy-to-understand writing skill besides technical and logical thinking. It requires accuracy and ability to spot inconsistencies, and also thinking out of the box. For example, some behavior of the code is obvious to you, but the average user would not think of it.
In around 10% of your time, you will help to create new automation solutions.
You will support Raw Materials, Indirect Materials and Services Category Manager Teams through ad-hoc/recurring market, pricing and spend-analysis, building and maintaining dashboards.
