Overall mission:

  • Responsible for the Supply Planning team which performs Supply Planning activities.
  • Ensure accurate processing of all Supply Planning activities for the Supply Planning team, following performance and quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements
  • Be the main contact for the Planning Manager concerning defined processes.
  • You will be reporting to the Planning Manager GBS EMEA

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Actively works to continuously improve processes
  • Creates strong morale and spirit in the team
  • You will lay out work and monitors progress and results
  • Communicate with internal and external partners by phone or by email
  • Support the set-up and manage the Supply Planning team for the EMEA sites (6-8 persons)
  • You will provide professional support for the team: Coach team members, set goals, evaluate skill development, develop individual action plans and train team as needed
  • Issue resolution for Supply Planning activities related to daily challenges and mid/ long-term improvements- in cooperation with other 2 Team Managers and the Planning Manager
  • You will oversee daily operations in the Supply Planning area:
  • Increase inbound supply patterns and evaluate exception requests from site
  • Manage planning parameters and lead time data and evaluate exception requests from site
  • You will perform stock transfers for inventory optimization purposes
  • Identify material supply constraints and collaborate with regional Supply Chain team to develop resolution options 
  • Create presentation material for supply review and Operational review
  • Manage short-term supply issues from network that satisfies site requirements in most cost-effective manner
  • Observe service levels
  • Observe procedures

 

Education / Primary Qualification:

 

  • Diploma: Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Languages: Proficient in Business English, additional languages are an advantage
  • Professional experience:Min. 3 years of experience in PlanningMin. 1 year of experience in a team-leading role

 

Required skills:

  • Hands-on experience with large ERP system(s), SAP MM/PP modules, IBP is an advantage
  • Advanced MS Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
  • Relevant process experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Continuous Improvement knowledge is an advantage
