Sustainability Excellence Specialist - Your future role?
As the Sustainability Excellence Specialist, you will support the digital transformation of the sustainability team and actively contributes to the design, deployment and continuous improvement of sustainability digital solutions, processes and tools across Givaudan.
You will be based in Budapest, Hungary (hybrid role, up to 4 days HO/week) and will report directly to the Senior Sustainability Excellence Manager.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Deliver Sustainability Digital Solutions

Design, test, and deploy sustainability solutions (processes, tools, metrics and documentation) in line with Givaudan's Sustainability and Procurement strategies

Define testing scenarios and independently test sustainability solutions, including deep-dive on non-conformance

Become the expert of the implemented solutions, be the first point of contact for trouble shooting and support the functional experts

Develop and maintain documentation related to Sustainability digital solutions. Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders across functions to identify and implement process enhancements ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance

Train and guide functional teams on sustainability tools, processes and best practices

Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure lessons learned are captured and shared
Project & Process Excellence

Act as a project manager on specific projects in scope of Sustainability Excellence

Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment, milestone achievement and successful delivery

Engage with IT and other business functions to bridge functional needs and digital solution design, supporting the transition to more automated, data-driven reporting and monitoring

Monitor and report progress of projects in scope of Sustainability Excellence, ensuring timely issue escalation and action follow-up
Data, Reporting & Analytics

Collect, consolidate, and validate sustainability-related data across sources and systems to maintain integrity and completeness

Execute ad hoc analyses supporting decision-making, business cases, and measurement of sustainability initiatives impact

Collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders to define relevant metrics, explain findings, and recommend actionable insights
Training, Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

Develop and deliver training materials, learning sessions and documentation to build awareness and competencies on sustainability processes and digital tools

Act as a key enabler of change management, promoting sustainability solution best practices, harmonized data usage and continuous capability building
Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency, standardization and automation across sustainability activities

Benchmark against leading practices, digital innovations and evolving external frameworks to recommend optimizations

Partner with Procurement, Sustainability and other corporate functions (EHS, Regulatory, Finance, etc.) to ensure consistent implementation of Sustainability processes across the relevant departments
Your professional profile includes:

University degree preferable in business administration
-
Fluency in English
-
Minimum 3 years' experience in project management and business analyst role in business administration

Sustainability experience is beneficial

Understanding of sustainability and procurement processes

Understanding of end-to-end corporate processes is beneficial

Strong analytical skills and good data visualization skills

SAP experience is a plus
-
SAP BI experience is a plus
-
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Good Process Management & Process Analysis

Ability to interact at multiple levels
