Transfer Pricing-Tax Support Team Lead: your future position?

As a Transfer Pricing-Tax Support Team Lead in our Budapest office, you will monitor team’s performance against deliverables set in the KPIs and against Corporate standards, plan and monitor workload accordingly. You will support revisition of Transfer Pricing activities, making proposals to improve and standardise day-to-day processes and Month-End Closing activities.

 

Main responsibilities

Business Partnering

• Build constructive and effective relationships with the business and stakeholders
• Take full ownership to find solution for encountered issues and problems for the team
• Actively collaborate with Group Tax and local finance to support the Tax activities

 

Transfer Pricing Management
• Ensure all transfer prices are set up based on Corporate Tax guidelines
• Coordinate yearly mass update activities
• Be first point of contact for any transfer price issues 
• Perform ad-hoc reporting upon request by local Finance or Group Tax

 

Activity reporting and gross margin analysis
• Prepare and review results of Activity reports according to Group guidelines
• Ensure that gross profit are analysed for main activities and actions are taken to correct margins
• Propose  further actions to reach operating profit targets
• Liaise with Group Tax and local finance teams on transactions impacting Activity reporting 

 

Functional Recharge calculations
• Ensure monthly recharge calculations and quarterly true-ups are performed and cost-plus targets are reached
• Understand and ensure compliance with the relevant Policies

 

Process Improvement, knowledge transfers
• Ensure knowledge transfer objectives are met
• Manage end-to-end process improvements
• Actively coordinate projects
• Provide support and train junior team members  in projects and coordinate the knowledge transfers 

 

People Management 
• Build effective team, manage daily people related issues i.e holidays, sickleave, backup
• Support Ops Manager to monitor the team’s performance against deliverables set in the KPIs
• Provide continuous informations and feedback to team members  on re occuring base (HY and Y appraisal together with Manager) Make proposal for promotions and / or rewards
• Replace Manager on calls, interviews  and take additional rights which are delegated by Manager

 

You have:

  • Finance degree (college or university and Chartered accountant, Tax advisor)
  • Fluent English level
  • At least 5 years in Finance and Controlling
  •  At least 3 years in Transfer Pricing and Tax knowledge
  • Advanced MS Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
  • Knowledge of SAP
