Job Purpose
You will use market knowledge to develop, update and maintain the consensus forecast while supporting the effectiveness of the local market supply chain and cus-tomer service.
Core Responsibilities.
• Contribute to implementing Demand Planning strategy aligned with Sales and Operations Roadmap.
• Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in Demand Planning and lead or partic-ipate in projects when relevant.
• Create and maintain the consensus forecast by collaborating with Sales and Customers to analyze quantitative and qualitative inputs to the forecast such as new item launches, customer forecasts, competitive im-pacts, promotional activity, etc.
• For assigned markets, coordinate and facilitate demand review meetings to be held with Sales teams and Customer Service.
• Participate in customer meetings and visits to customers when applicable to understand business challenges, requirements and capabilities.
• Proactively identify opportunities for forecast accuracy improvement.
• Manage early warning process and collaborate with planning to ensure availability of capaci-ty and raw materials in time for new win launches and at optimal cost.
• Coordinate product life cycle management focusing on efficient introduction and timely re-moval of products.
Professional experience
• 2+ years of experience in similar positions.
• Strong affinity to systems and analytical tools (SAP, IBP, BI/BO, etc.).
• Knowledge in Forecasting (Statistical Models).
• APICS Certification (desired).
Academic Background
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar fields.
