Your Title: Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist

You'll be located: Mt. Olive, NJ

Reports to: Continuous Improvement Manager

 

You Will:

Strategy design and execution

• Contribute to the design of the local Continuous Improvement strategy and deployment plans for the assigned site-based on the global CI Road Map strategy.

• Develop related projects to meet local Operations goals.

Continuous Improvement management

• Identify and measure improvement opportunities with site Operations teams, and use best tools/methods from the CI toolbox to develop solutions and complete these.

• Leverage internal and external Lean networks to capture and eventually deploy best practices.

• Responsible for the improvements execution of our Continuous Improvement Maturity Assessment.

• Improve culture change for Continuous Improvement throughout the site, specifically in operations.

• Ability to bring in creativity to market Continuous Improvement

• Ability to modify responsibilities based on our needs.

Project Management

• Implement approved CI projects, monitoring resource plans, project team accountabilities, change requests, deadlines, mile-stones, and providing periodic updates to project partners.

• Guide, and Sustain Continuous Improvement projects assigned.

• Identify and measure improvement opportunities; develop action plans accordingly.

• Coach project teams on applying Lean and Six Sigma concepts and tools during solution design and project execution phases.

• Responsible for overseeing the completion of projects and certifications

Change management and Capability building

• Support project managers in developing change management roadmaps and related communication strategies.

• Challenge existing processes and coach project teams in applying practices to develop solutions and initiate change.

• Train site Operations teams on Lean principles to close capability gaps and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Performance Management

• Help implement the Operational Improvement Plan (OIP) for the site and cascade its Indicators.

 

Your Profile:

• University degree in Engineering or related discipline (Master preferred).

• LEAN and Project management certification.

• 3+ years in continuous improvement.

• 1+ year/s of people management experience.

• Training experience with operators, shift leaders, and departmental managers.

• Knowledge of product processing and industrialization processes.

• Good command in partner management and communications.

• Good command in process mapping and design.

• Knowledge of value chain diagnostics tools.

• Knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.

• General knowledge of financial concepts (e.g., OPEX, CAPEX) and tools (e.g., SAP).
