Master Data Applications Services Analyst

Master Data Applications Services Analyst - Your future Position?

 

As a Master Data Applications Services Analyst, you will be an integral member of our Global Application Services Organization providing Level 2 support around the globe.

Your main purpose and goal will be to maintain user satisfaction by providing a swift solution to application issues and requests.

  • Support and Influence:
    1. Application support within SAP ECC, OneData and connected systems.
    2. Functional support and Master Data updates.
    3. Interface Monitoring, resolution of identified issues.
    4. No major development is involved in this role.
    5. Provide clear analysis on Problems to enable our Development Teams to avoid repeating Incidents.

 

  • Lead and Collaborate:
    1. Support Corrective change implementation.
    2. Participate in Projects to obtain the knowledge required to support following promotion to Production Systems.
    3. Work closely with the Master Data support team to help business owners and global power users resolve issues in a timely fashion.
    4. Ensure the global ticketing tool is promptly and correctly updated with activities, resolution and user feedback for effective and efficient tracking.
    5. Maintain schedule of mass updates into SAP production, ensure necessary checks have been completed to minimize the risk

 

  • Customer Engagement and Service:
    1. Fulfill Master Data application service requests raised by users across the regions, focusing primarily in LATAM.
    2. Resolve Master Data application Incidents raised by users across the regions, focusing primarily in LATAM.
    3. Ensure timely ticket resolution of Incidents and Service Requests according to SLA.
    4. Ensure proper communication to user on ticket progress, resolution and root cause.
    5. Escalate any issues/conflicts to LATAM Application Services Manager.

Your professional profile includes:

  • University Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • ITIL certification will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with Master Data in SAP ECC (version 6 or above).
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English.
  • Understanding of SAP IDOCs and Workflows.
  • Must have at least 2 years of Application Support experience.
  • Candidate must be interested in Application Support role.
  • Able to qualify, communicate and escalate.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide a local presence for the Global APS team.
  • Ability to diagnose system issues based on documentation such as Use Cases and Technical designs.
  • Ability to work as part of Remote/Virtual Team.
  • Hands on Oracle, SQL programming and troubleshooting expertise (Desirable).
  • Datastage/Webmethod understanding (Desirable).
  • Experience with LSMW tool (will be a plus).
  • Manufacturing/Chemical industry experience (will be a plus).
