Regional Supply Planner

Regional Supply Planner - Your future position?

 

Overall mission: Perform Supply Planning processes and manner, following defined standard operating procedures and maintain an overview of overall Supply Planning team activities.
Contribute to the achievement of Supply Planning performance and quality standards as defined in relevant service level agreements.
Be the main contact for the team leads and the Head of Planning in relation to defined processes.

 

Main responsibilities:

-Actively improve processes
-Provide professional support for colleagues
-Build constructive relationships with diverse teams and partners
-Be a contact person for partners for operational topics
-Co-operation with other workstreams within the GBS in overseeing the end-to-end process
-Daily operations in the Supply Planning area:

 

For materials under the scope:

-Improve inbound supply patterns and evaluate exception requests from site
-Manage planning parameters and lead time data and evaluate exception requests from site
-Perform stock transfers for inventory optimization purposes
-Identify material supply constraints and collaborate with regional Supply Chain team to develop resolution options
-Create presentation material for supply review and executive S&OP
-Manage short/long-term supply issues from the network that satisfies site/global requirements in most cost-effective manner
-Analyze parameters, demand and inventory impact for formula transfer and mass replacement
-Identify slow and obsolete inventory batches, review status and promote necessary stock transfers
-Follow service levels
-Follow procedures
-Indicators development and update
-Pain points analysis as inputs for Network supply planners and production planners
-Ad-hoc request to provide perspective on network scenarios

 

Education/primary qualification:

Diploma: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Languages: Advanced English is a must / Portuguese is a plus
Professional experience: 6+ months of experience Planning

 

Required skills:

Experience with SAP PP/MM modules is an advantage
Advanced MS Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and good or equivalent tools
Relevant process experience
numeracy and administration skills
Experience in a shared service center is an advantage
