Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Purpose
In relation to the overall objective of the function to assure products comply with all applicable quality, product safety and customer requirements, you will work with regular supervision supporting the execution of the Quality Assurance, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Strategies. You will be reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager at our site in 6th October City.
Core Responsibilities

Fulfil the document manager role for site Quality Management System regulated documents and records.

Ensure Quality Management System documentation is generated, maintained, stored and archived in compliance with company internal procedures.

Responsible for on-going collection of quality metrics e.g. Complaint data, internal non- conformance data, supplier quality metrics and reporting appropriately.

Run reports including key statistics and findings for the Quality function in relation to QMS performance.

Coordinate with document / process owners, the maintenance of appropriate local documents

including work instruc-tions, procedures and manuals etc. in Opentext.

Ensure the quality, formatting and presentation of QMS documents is upheld according to internal templates.

Coordinate the administrative elements of the Internal Audit program. Participate in Internal Audits as an Auditor. Coordinate the upkeep of internal audit records in SAP Audit module.

Prepare and maintain QA related data that demonstrates the effectiveness of QA processes and its application in Site QA continuous improvement (CI) processes such as daily meetings and visual performance management.
Academic Background
-
A vocational Diploma in Administration, Engineering, or Chemistry is required.

University degree.

Professional experience
-
Overall work experience of 3+ years of experience.Basic understanding of the principles of HACCP
Professional experience

Overall work experience of 5 to 6 years in related field
Technical Skills
-
Can demonstrate an ability / potential, form effective relationships, continuous improvement mind-set.

Experience with using computer based Management Systems and applications.

Good understanding of the principles of Quality Management Systems e.g. ISO 9001 and continuous improvement.
