Quality Control Technician

As a Quality Control Technician, you will perform the analysis according the Quality-Safety Environmental procedures for our plant in Caronno Pertusella.

Reporting to Quality Control Lab Manager, you will:

  • Perform chemical, physical testing and sensory evaluations of raw materials, intermediates and finished products
  • Perform basic equipment calibrations per frequency noted in calibration procedures
  • Perform instruments, equipment and quality deviations troubleshooting in laboratory
  • Maintain work a hygienic and safe work environment
  • Provide backup and support to team members as necessary
  • Identify opportunity for improvements in QC and set proactive measure for trouble prevention
  • Store raw data and retained samples
  • Purchase consumables for analysis
  • Clean the glassware and manage the special waste

Your professional profile includes:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical, Food science or in related discipline
  • Overall work experience of 3 to 5 years in Chemical Lab
  • Operational experience and strong affinity on laboratory system, analytical instruments such as GC, GC-MS, HPLC, UV, TLC and Sensory test
  • Knowledge on chemical substances, hazardous material and Laboratory safety
  • Previous experience in botanicals and sensory test preferred
  • Team working oriented
  • Precision and planning ability
  • Passion and flexibility in working
  • Microsoft Office, independency in PC usage

Proficiency in both English and Italian languages
