Regional ManEx Manager- APAC, Fragrance & Beauty – Your future position?
As the Regional Manufacturing Excellence Manager, APAC of Fragrance & Beauty, you will be based in Changzhou and report to Head of Manufacturing Excellence,Global Operations F&B. You will be responsible for delivering manufacturing performance of Cost Efficiency, Capacity and Quality fulfilling Customer Requirements, through driving deployment of Innovation & Efficiency Programs and improving Manufacturing Standards.
You will:
Partnering on developing and driving Regional & Site Operations strategies/roadmaps.
·Lead and develop regional team aligned with Operations strategy
·Ensure robust function specific talent pipeline and development plans for local and regional functions
·Build effective network and communication within own regional function and to regional/local stakeholders
·Maintain regional partnerships incl. feedback loops
·Support building of improvement culture and ownership engrained in Operations functions and with employees
·Facilitate systematic Manufacturing expertise and skill development through training, coaching and best practice sharing
·Development and maintenance of the network of subject matter experts and specialists
Drive performance & compliance through leading effective improvement programs and governance
·Lead, trigger and partner regional/local improvement initiatives (safety, quality, cost, efficiency)
·Lead-Coach-Influence specific business improvement project or program at Global, Regional or Site Level
·Lead regional governance to define objectives and prioritize projects aligned with stakeholders and resources
·Consult and support product and packaging portfolio improvement initiatives
Assess & guide process, system and standards robustness
·Drive ManEx assessments and resulting lead activities towards ideal state definitions
·Support achievement of regional standards and best compliance
·Identify user requirements and demands with regards to product, systems and process improvements
·Represent region in function supporting tools and systems projects as well as packaging related initiatives
·Continually develop and enhance ManEx Standards
Get involved and contribute to Site Master Plans, Innovation and Digital initiatives
·Identify user requirements and demands with regards to product, systems and process improvements
·Represent process efficiency requirements (URS) in CAPEX projects and site masterplans
·Design / present solutions for approval and establish strategies to implement
·Support qualifications of new processes and innovations Drive change management and people development
·Lead/coordinate regional/global improvement projects along milestones, monitor and report progress
·Inform, train and support stakeholders and contributors to the manufacturing process definition
·Establish a collaborative relation with all primary stakeholders (Regional, Site Heads, Production Mgrs., CI , Process Engineers)
·Develop people with 70-20-10 model. Training (10%), coaching(20%) and on job mentoring (70%) people on specific ManEx topics

Your professional profile includes:
·Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry or a related field.
·Technical University degree or business degree with proven technical experience, master degree preferred
·Overall work experience minimum 10 years. Function related experience of minimum 5 years
·Strong project management skills and utilization of the project management techniques. Experience in Continuous Improvement, LEAN Green Belt
·Fragrance industry experience is preferred. Solid understanding of manufacturing technologies, product characteristics and dynamic industries with high complexity (SKUs, demand fluctuations, MTO/MTS, high innovation, rapid development cycles)
·Solid understanding of industrialization and management processes such as product life cycle, specification management, non-conformity handling, audit change management
