Site Manager, Fragrance & Beauty Changzhou – Your future position?
As the Site Manager of Fragrance & Beauty Changzhou, you will oversee the management and ongoing improvement of the production (Fragrance, Flavor compliance, oral care & spray drying powder), logistics, quality and site engineering & maintenance, EHS and general service at Changzhou site. Here's a taste of what your daily life could encompass:
- Lead the safety, health, and environmental effort to achieve expected results, ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, and maintain good government relationships in ChangZhou.
- Ensure customer expectations are exceeded with the highest quality products and services.
- Encourage team members to participate in CI (Continuous Improvement) Events. Participate with site Engineering in the establishment of processes, lay-out and work instructions to maximize safety, quality and throughput of products; ensure productivity improvement year over year through development of stable operations and the elimination of non-value added work
- Provide leadership to drive the plant's GMP and maintenance processes, ensuring the goals are met.
- Provide leadership for manufacturing areas; assures that product quality standards are met on a consistent basis; utilizes quality tools in the manufacturing areas to assure quality standards at each processing station; challenges all supervision and team members for quality improvement suggestions in Improvement Events; assures customer quality expectations are met and exceeded
- Effectively manage teams on the site to continue to improve performance
- Identify and develop talents within the organization to ensure depth of talents and succession plan
- Manage all spending and control at or below budget levels.
- Promote a positive work environment, employee relations
- Ensure staffing and training is maintained to support excellent service to the customer.
- Develop and maintain systems for continuous improvement in all processes, utilizing tools such as 6 Sigma & lean, operations excellence etc. to achieve the site focus KPI

Your professional profile includes:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years manufacturing experience in related manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Successful track record of achieving plant operational goals.
- Business knowledge of production, budget, asset and cost structure management.
- Proven leadership, team building and organization skills, along with the ability to build trust and integrity.
- Stakeholder management
- Good at Government relations with domestic background to deal with authority directly.
- Fluent written and spoken English & Chinese.
- Experience supporting and implementing organization development and human resources initiatives.
- Experience driving and supporting innovative manufacturing and maintenance systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and implementation of process improvement methodologies, including stable operations and / or similar process improvement protocols.
