Senior Development Chef -  Your Future Position?

Location: Chengdu, Sichuan, China

As a Chef in our Taste & Wellbeing Division, you will report to Application Head - savory, and deliver the best culinary concepts and experience working with FC&A to provide prototypes/demos, recommendations to internal and external customers. Support local sales and business development projects.  Complete all projects allocated to your work queue; focus on supporting the FS segment and other GOLD opportunities and main customers. In this exciting role you will work on:

• Provide and propose new ideas, concept and culinary experience to meet customer requirement
• Demonstrate our Taste Solutions and dishes to inspire flavour development and creation.
• Work as a team with flavorists, seasoning creators, application technologist, sales and marketing through collaboration, demonstrating cuisine concepts. Support integrate solution for food service customer by provide chef’s recipe for technologist to translate into industrial version.
• Transform knowledgeable and creative food trends into ideas for retail and foodservice; i.e. through marinades, snacks, sauces & soups and processed meats
• Connect culinary inspired concepts into food and beverages segments.
• Operate equipment used in Food Service and Food Processing equipment for sweet and savoury products.
• Participate in presentation and meet up with customers (ideations, demos & adopt cooking recipes to bench top formulations)
• Work on other Culinary tasks (i.e. beverage, baked goods, confectionery, dairy) as assigned by the Manager

Your professional profile includes:

• 10+ years experience in Chinese cuisines (prefer Sichuan cuisine)
• Solid experience in food development for QSR or HRC channel
• International culinary experience
• Good command in English both written & spoken
• Proficiency in Windows and computer literate
