SAP Compliance System Designer - EHS EHSM

This role focuses on SAP Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) “Classic” ECC 7.0 and Component Extension (CE) 6.0 Environmental Health and Safety Management (EHSM). Solution Designer activities include regulated material management on raw materials and finished goods EHS Specifications and Dangerous Goods masters used for the transport of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous substances. EHSM will also require NWBC integration with master data objects and output management (reports) for managing corporate EHS incidents, risks, maintenance and operational change management. 

 

  • Contribute to the SAP solution proposals based on business requirements (projects or regular change requests) in the Compliance, Regulatory and Dangerous Goods functional area, Contribute to the support of the  productive system by reviewing / validating changes managed by Application Services; Consult and contribute to projects at various steps: requirements, specifications writing / validation and testing; Foresee future evolutions of one application (home planner)

 

  • Design new solutions, configure system(s) and test new solutions; this includes supporting project teams to design solutions driven by the project. Capable of understanding, articulating and translating business requirements to system solution at a conceptual level (business to IT translation).

 

  • Ensure completeness of documentation (process flows, procedures and operations documents, Functional Designs) related to new solutions being developed; Highly motivated in understanding a new business. Culturally aware and adaptable to flexible business requirements. Willing to integrate an existing environment and an existing project team

Your professional profile includes:

  • Higher education completed, preferably with a degree in Computer Sciences or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the IT Domain or in global IT projects  - SAP REQUIRED (SAP HANA is a plus) Min. 2 years experience as functional/application designer in EHS and EHSM – REQUIRED. General experience across other SAP Modules SD, MM, PM.
  • In-depth understanding of global regulatory regulations pertaining to Flavours and Fragrance industry requirements (preferred). Willing to assimilate into existing environments and project teams and able to lead a design or test team.
  • Thorough knowledge of the systems development lifecycle; proven success in testing domain (coordination, strategy, test plans and execution.
  • The ability to document functional and technical specifications for off-shore development center. 
  • Must be independent and interact with other peers working from different location.
