Flavor Assistant II - Your future position?
As an important member of the Taste and Wellbeing Operations team, reporting to the Process Technology Manager, your role is to work as a subject matter expert on SAP, SRM, CMS, and other site systems to develop, work on implementation, and follow up on the improvements in the main site systems.
In this exciting role you will:
- Prepare flavor samples as requested for customer briefs, applications needs, technology performance assessment, QC standards, and physical testing;
- Be a point of contact to provide flavor samples for other labs and departments within Givaudan;
- Maintain all required formula records and brief documentation in company database software (Athena, Atlas, among others);
- Maintain organized and updated stock of raw materials in the lab;
- Maintain an organized collection of flavors in the lab for immediate response to briefs and applications requests;
- Maintain a clean laboratory environment following EH&S guidelines and good laboratory practices;
- Help apply flavors to food products when assigned;
- Help evaluate flavors in food products and provide flavor performance feedback;
You?
- Polytechnic or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related area;
- 3+ years of experience in a food applications lab, production;
- Experience working with or knowledge of database software such as SAP, Athena, and FPR, among others.
