Industrialization Scientist I

Reporting to the Industrialization Supervisor  you will review new and existing formulas for applicability to site capabilities and improvement opportunitiesa. 
This role is ideal for an engineer or scientist with an understanding of flavor creation, quality control, and/or production scale-up.


You Will

Influence: Provide input and guidance regarding production procedures and techniques. Use your understanding of relevant quality and creation processes
including life cycle management, customer requirements, document management, continuous improvement, complaint handling, audit processes,
change management to identify opportunities to improve performance. Pursue new approaches to research challenges; make recommendations to
project teams based on experimental results. Develop tactical plans to support functional strategy.


Collaborate: Use your experience with order fulfillment, brief management, Regulatory and the innovation process to work with partners including quality
and safety to ensure agreement. Provide training and audits adherence to established procedures. Work with quality and production during troubleshooting. Contribute to a culture of communication, information sharing, collaboration and relationships with groups on a local, regional, and global level.


Improve: Use your understanding of manufacturing technologies and product characteristics (such as liquids, spray drying, powder blending, process
Flavors) to enhance quality and consumer goods industrialization processes. Lead problem solving sessions and investigations into quality and process deviations to identify and eliminate root causes.

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical engineering, or science related degree
Experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of food and flavor samples and its chemistry. (co-op experience will be
Experience with Food Safety and Quality Systems is an advantage
Laboratory experimental skills and familiar with bench trials and experience setting up glassware
