Network Supply Planner - Flavors Manufacturing

Building on our global leadership position in flavors and taste, we go beyond to create food experiences that do good and feel good, for body, mind and planet. With an expanded portfolio of products across flavors, taste, functional and nutritional solutions and a knowledge of the food ecosystem, our passion is to work with customers and partners to develop game-changing innovations in food and beverages.

Reporting to a planning manager, you will develop integrated supply network for technologies. You will establish methodology to manage production capacity based on forecasted demand. Optimize efficiency and minimize cost. Audit discard processes. Develop metrics and solutions for improving inventory. Minimize impact on reserve. Use Site Supply Reviews to develop recommendations for us to solve complex supply issues and enhance capacity use. Align best practices and training within the region.

  • Process Improvement: Propose and improve processes and organization optimization for more efficiency and reduced cost. Increase supply network; balance capacity and inventory across the supply network. Develop reports and tools. Product life cycle management; review changes to existing business, new / lost business, and review formulation changes to mitigate risk.

  • Collaborate and Influence: Work in close collaboration with customer care, demand planning, raw material planning and planning streams/systems to ensure service level to customers. Develop training programs, manuals and methods of implementation to meet identified requirements. Work with teams to confirm and support inventory policies and planning parameters. Backup Planning Manager or other Planning functions. Lead Site, technology or Regional Supply Review.

  • Project Management: Review slow moving and obsolete inventory. Manage reserve projections. Review Manufactured Item lead times. Monitor essential supply constraints and escalate supply issues. Follow Givaudan procedures, guidelines and best-practice on relevant areas including Safety; address and implement where missing


  • Bachelor's Degree or Related Experience in Supply Chain Management
  • 5+ years in the industry manufacturing Supply Chain role
  • Knowledge of Inventory Management, Capacity Analysis, and supply chain best practices (i.e. APICS)
  • Working knowledge in planning. preferably have experience with demand, supply and production
  • Working knowledge BI, BO, Excel (can perform complex functions)
  • Experience with SAP
