Food Safety Quality Specialist - Flavors Manufactu

Reporting to the Head of Quality at our Cincinnati manufacturing facility, you will support the production floor, and Quality Control and improvement programs to improve performance, mindset and customer satisfaction at site level.


  • Operational Success: Support local shop floor quality system and improvement projects. Learn about, and gain an understanding of, our manufacturing technologies and product characteristics (such as liquids, spray drying, powder blending, process flavors, emulsions, separations, and extractions).


  • Quality Enhancement: Support Quality Control improvement projects (flows, methods, calibration). Support customer complaints and non-conformance management. Provide trouble-shooting of local issues. Take part in quality audits and problem resolution.


  • Team Collaboration: Coach and mentor QC Technicians on their daily testing and SAP utilization. Work with other areas of impact such as order fulfillment, brief management, Regulatory and innovation processes.



  • Technical or Business Administration bachelor degree or equivalent continuous education with proven track record in quality in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years experience, co-op rotations will be considered relevant
  • Project management exposure
  • Experience with processes such as Ingredient life cycle management, Vendor Quality, Customer Quality requirements, Specification and Formula management.
  • Experience with Food Safety and Quality Systems (such as FSSC, AIB, ISO, GMP, GHP, and HACCP)
