Raw Material Analyst

Overall Objective:

Increase the Raw Material network for NOAM to improve customer service, efficiency and lower cost. 
Optimize inventory levels and sustainable raw material availability by working in close collaboration with Raw Material Planners, GBS, Finished Goods Planning and Issue Management. 
Develop Raw Material planning processes implement. Build on planning strategies and improvement projects. 


Responsibilities: 

Work in close collaboration with Finished Goods planning, raw material planning, GBS Operational Buying, GBS Supply Planning, GBS Spot Buying and GBS Replenishment planning to ensure service level to customers and optimize inventory levels.
Develop training programs, manuals and methods of implementation to meet identified requirements
Support improvements in general processes, reports and indicators of the planning teams that result in improved customer service, efficiency and lower cost. 
First level of Purchase Order Approval
Improve reports and tools
Project Management
Review slow moving and obsolete inventory. Manage reserve projections.
Review raw material lead times and work with GBS to improve where needed
Work with GBS to confirm and support inventory policies and planning parameters
Improve supply network; balance warehouse capacity and inventory across the supply network
Monitor essential supply constraints and escalate supply issues
Backup RM Planning Manager
Lead Operational Review


Primary Qualifications:

Education: 

Bachelor’s Degree or Related Experience in Supply Chain Mgmt


Experience: 

Min 5 years in the industry, preferably Supply Chain role
Knowledge of Inventory Management, Capacity Analysis, and supply chain best practices (i.e. APICS)
Experience in the flavour, ingredient or fragrance industry preferred
