Our Procurement teams develop and implement business procurement strategies for our sites to optimize cost, both P&L and balance sheet and to identify and reduce risk, according to our business objectives, corporate guidelines and local policies. They are skilled, efficient, performance-driven, and a team that ensures targets completion. They manage supplier performance to ensure uninterrupted supply.

 

Reporting to the head of Procurement IM&S NOAM, you will manage the procurement of Corporate Services, and support the procurement teams. This includes sourcing (including RFx's and e-auctions), pricing, rejections, supplier inventory, supply chain, obsolescence and resolving invoice discrepancies. You will operate with autonomy.

This position can be based in our sites in Cincinnati or New Jersey, with an hybrid working model (4 days at the office, 1 day remote)

 

Collaboration: Foster collaboration between global and local procurement and partners by providing transparency and agreement Advise and assist other functions in the evaluation and pricing of alternate materials. Advise on trade practices, pricing, market conditions, delivery terms, and use of technical services of vendors. To implement global, regional and local agreements and support the financial targets as outlined by Global IM&S Procurement. Support the responsible sourcing projects implementation (Sedex, Audits)

 

Supplier Management: Negotiate annual and long-term contracts. Guide the sourcing process by developing intimate knowledge of selected supply markets through study, analysis, personal contacts with suppliers, and any other sources of market information. Guide vendor selection and consolidation. Initiate search for new services, materials or products. Solicit and analyze quotes, negotiate price and delivery terms and investigate invoice discrepancies. Investigate and approve the facilities, quality and financial responsibility of potential suppliers. Perform local negotiations with suppliers and ensure contract cover within their portfolio within the value of spend specified by the appropriate Regional Manager and the Global Delegation of Authorities/Signatories policy.

 

Market Research and processes: Analyze trends and market movements for use in making sound procurement decisions. Provide market conditions, pricing, shortages or technical information to Global Category Managers and make recommendations. Integrate the IM&S processes to conform to the guidelines developed within systems. Maintain and expand the usage of catalogs.
