Regulatory Excellence Program Manager

We aim to provide creative, sustainable, and high-quality products to our customers, creating value through customer experience. In the domain of Regulatory Excellence, you will drive the Integration of the products from recently acquired companies, into Givaudan's framework in aligning the way of working.


Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Excellence, you will provide guidance regarding Project Management - coordinating the Portfolio of Regulatory Projects, and will guide Strategic Projects. This opportunity is a part of our Product Safety, Regulatory, and Assurance (PSRA) team and we have some flexibility for work location at one of our US sites for US-based candidates, or one of our Global sites for current non-US based Givaudan employees.  International relocation is not a part of this flexibility.


  • Lead Products Integration & Strategic Regulatory Programs: Ensure implementation of Portfolio Integration projects. Guide the integration projects of acquired products into our business and system landscape in aligning the Regulatory and Compliance product standards. Establish processes and models for managing new acquisitions with varying organizational size, complexities and product nature. Determine the project framework (related to regulatory processes, skill development, regulatory communications, policy development, data and system enhancement) including resourcing and timing of implementations. Coordinate and assist global implementation, establish change management programs and monitor progress.


  • Promote Project Management Technics and Mentoring: Apply best-in-class Project Management Techniques and lead the Global Excellence Project Management team and network. Manage the Portfolio of Regulatory projects and build/maintain a high-performance group of Project Managers. Develop training programs and encourage skill development through coaching and best practice sharing. Provide leadership for a smooth collaboration with essential partners.


  • Support Regulatory Process/System enhancements: Coordinate Regulatory Process/System enhancement projects. Ensure data integrity and accuracy (initiate data cleansing and review activities). Oversee development of regulatory compliance and information delivery systems, incl. change requests. Identify user requirements, determine project structures and obtain understanding of partners. Design solutions and establish strategies to implement agreed option. Help guide the automation agenda.



  • Bachelor's Degree in scientific or technical area. Scientific or technical degree in Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Toxicology, Regulatory or related degree (i.e. Pharmacology)
  • 10+ years of relevant technical experience to include project management
  • Noted achievements in a multifunctional environment
  • Use techniques such as TPM, KPI, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and project controlling tools
  • Experience with data and database management and systems
