Field Buyer in Sulawesi, Indonesia - Your future position?

Being a Field Buyer in Givaudan, a company leader in the fragrance and flavour industry, you will be part of the Procurement team in Givaudan Indonesia. You will report directly to the Sourcing Leader.

In this exciting role you will:

• Select Farmers / Distillers and qualify them.
• Develop and implement buying strategies/plans and conduct negotiations in the field.
• Manage field customer's relationship, contracts, quality, and issues on site locations.
• Provide comprehensive information to Management for strategic decision-making.
• Support Corporate Social Responsibility projects.
• Manage field Sustainability and Biodiversity assessments.

Your professional profile includes:

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Forestry, Soil Management, Chemistry or Agriculture Engineering.
• Minimum English proficiency at Intermediate level required.
• 5 years' experience in sourcing or farm related development programs in Forestry or Agronomy areas in Naturals in Essential Oils.
• Some experience managing projects or sourcing or contract farming.
• Experience or knowledge in Field Sustainability and Biodiversity Assessments will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with AI adoption and application knowledge.
• Willing to located at Sulawesi and travelling in rural area.
• Have a driver liscence (SIM A)
• Strong integrity, with proven abilities in problem‑solving
• Organised, independent and able to work with people across different level areas.
