Consumer Market Insights Manager - Your Future Position?
Design, execute and communicate market research projects and build consumer understanding in line with business objectives for Vietnam market and cross categories.
Core Responsibilities:
- Project Management: To select and recommend country and project relevant methodology with supervision of a more senior CMI manager when needed. Recommend evolving country relevant methodologies. Coordinate test samples with internal stakeholders. Commissioning and set up, manage cost, quality control of field and tabulate data into standard excel template
- Data Management: To collaborate with CMI Lead manager to ensure CMI data is stored centrally and accessible for future reference, and run diagnostic analysis based on existing data
- Act as CMI business partner on specific projects for internal stakeholders, working closely on projects throughout the development cycle, providing in-depth interpretation of results to guide fragrance development and selection and to help to build rationale to support submissions. Summarize and interpret quali and quanti results supported by unique country insights. Share country insights of both proactive and reactive projects with stakeholders. Download to Regional CMI with timely country insights (Fragrance Family, home visits, benchmarking etc.) Update Regional Marketing with any evolving consumer behavior/product usage
- Support sales and development teams as MR expert in direct contact with clients, to discuss and review CMI methodologies and test results
Functional/ Technical Skills:
- Verbal and written command of English (and local language as required)
- Proficiency in using common PC applications (word, excel, ppt)
- Proficiency in using data analysis software (SPSS, xlstat, Matlab)
- Good understanding and use of inferential and multivariate statistics and experimental design, with supervision of a more senior CMI manager when needed. Good analytical skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Effectively plans, leads and communicates all required functional steps in the CMI project
- Pay attention to the details
- Understands legal & regulatory guidelines/restrictions for CMI testing
- Stay up to date with latest developments/techniques in CMI profession
- Good knowledge of market dynamics and trends for specific country, category as required
- Good understanding of fragrance (olfactory families, main benchmarks etc.)
Primary Qualifications:
- University Degree/Master s Degree (major in data science/sociology or equivalent major)
- 8-15 years of experience in market research; ideally in both agency and client sides
