Key Account Manager for Nutraceuticals, Botanical Ingredients, Taste & Wellbeing

Come join an enthusiastic, innovative and results oriented European Ingredient commercial team, dedicated to driving growth, building customer relationships and identifying business opportunities within the Food Supplement industry.

As Key Account Manager, you will work for a company that touches billions of consumers more than a hundred times a day. You will operate at the forefront of innovation and participate in creating Health & Nutrition products with our leading portfolio of Botanicals and natural ingredients to find their way to consumers through pharmacies, retail, supermarkets and online.

As of today, we are looking for an experienced and energizing professional, with a knowledge of the Polish and German Nutraceuticals Industry and botanicals ingredients.

 

You will be based in Germany (Frankfurt, Berlin, Dortmund) or Poland (Warsaw).

You will report directly to the Sales Director Europe for Nutraceuticals Ingredients.

 

In this exciting job you will:

  • Grow our business with designated accounts, being accountable for both top and bottom line results.
  • Establish and build customer relationships by combining a consultative selling approach with good understand-ing of what truly drives our customers: going beyond the obvious to deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Identify and unlock new business opportunities, balancing a strategic and pragmatic ap-proach.
  • Closely collaborate with other KAM (Flavour, Colour) but also our Technical and Marketing teams to help pro-jects successfully cross the finish line. It's always a team effort!
  • Be able to develop yourself in a dynamic environment, where creativity, business and technology meet.

Ideal candidate characteristics:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful commercial experience in B2B food supplement industry
  • Good technical experience in specialized ingredients: botanicals, branded ingredients, natural nutrients
  • Technical background or appetite to promote botanical science and clinical science
  • Proactive with strong drive and determination to achieve, able to turn challenges and setbacks into opportunities
  • Experienced in consultative selling and building customer relationships
  • Self-aware with excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Handle complexity, balancing quality and detail with pragmatism and hands on problem solving
  • Strategic business and commercial insight, with the courage to take calculated risks to achieve growth
  • Project management and coordination skills
  • Fluent in English plus German and/or Polish
