Operations Leadership Trainee Program

About the Role

 

As part of the Operations Leadership Program, you will perform many activities in all Operations Departments. You will work directly with the Head of Operations in Dortmund by delivering projects and executing activities previously assigned. With this experience, you will gain experience to be able to perform managerial responsibilities in the future. 

 

You Will:

 

  • Work with and through management to plan and direct the work of the organization
  • Develop Measurements, Dashboards, and Reports to increase the transparency of the underlying processes
  • Comply with and pass training program milestones such as Business Case presentations, Classroom training tests, etc. 
  • Build a large network within Givaudan and thus promote best practice sharing
  • Get very familiar with the Lean Toolbox plus displaying a strong Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Solve actual business problems of increasing complexity and scope
  • Organize workshops, writing minutes, following up on open actions
     

You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree within Food science, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering 
  • Business Fluent in German and English, other languages considered a plus 
  • Demonstrated supervisory and/or leadership experience
  • About 1 year of experience in an industrial/ manufacturing setting preferred
  • Relevant internship experience is preferred
