Quality Manager Germany (m/w/d) - Your future position?


As Quality Manager at Givaudan, you will work for a company that touches billions of consumers more than a hundred times a day. You will work for the market leader that is at the forefront of innovation in an industry of emotions. Our customers have national and international profiles, which brings diversity and curiosity to our daily job. You will be part of a very experienced team and in a position to develop your expertise together with your colleagues inside and outside your team. You will be based in Dortmund and reporting directly to the Operations Director Germany and dotted line to the Regional Quality Head EAME.

You will:

 

  • Lead a team: You will manage the local quality control and quality management teams and ensure healthy talent pipeline concerning performance and potential. You will set and monitor targets, assess performance and talent, provide direction where needed.

 

  • Improve our quality and food safety systems: You will manage the maintenance and continuous improvement of local quality and food safety systems including documentation, audit compliance with standards (such as ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, RSPO, Halal) within a large manufacturing site.

 

  • Contribute to the regional Quality System: As part of the regional Quality council EAME you will identify and promote opportunities for Quality improvements and encourage active best practices sharing.

 

You?

 

  • Technical University degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or business degree with technical experience.
  • 3+ years work experience in relevant functional field within the food industry
  • Flavour industry experience is preferred
  • Experience in Food Safety and Quality Management Systems / Standards (FSSC22000, ISO9001)
  • Good technical understanding
  • Good project management skills
  • Fluent in German and English
