Senior Account Executive/Account Executive at Givaudan – Your future position?

 

As a dynamic Senior Account Executive/Account Executive, you will be an integral part of the Sales team working on a global account, working from the Midwest and having an office located at our client based in Racine, Wisconsin, reporting to the Global KIAM.  As a key member of the team, you will increase the sales of fragrance compounds to our client through outstanding service and relationship management.  You will be responsible for preparing and executing a strategic business plan for areas of responsibility that focuses on efficiently maintaining current business and attacking new business opportunities in order to meet overall sales growth and performance expectations.  Highly organized, you’ll coordinate with internal teams and take ownership of the categories assigned.  Could this be the challenging environment you’re looking for?  It could well be your perfect opportunity if, like us, you always aim to exceed customer needs, deliver value and are skilled at fostering strong relationships.

 

In this position you will:

  • Grow business with winning relationships: with the client (Fragrance Manager, R&D, Marketing, Procurement) at all levels while coordinating with internal teams (Development, Marketing, CMI, S&T, RAPS)
  • Lead Strategy: for the North American market across multiple categories while following all customer KPI's vs. targets and taking corrective actions if necessary.  In addition, you will lead both proactive and reactive briefs to ensure we have winning fragrances and the product knowledge to be successful.
  • Impact the bottom line: with an innate passion for sales, you can leverage your brand and industry knowledge to develop and win new business.

Your professional profile includes:

  • University degree (Business, Chemistry, or Perfumery an advantage) with a minimum of 7 years industry experience (Fragrance or Flavours)
  • A proven passion for customer-focused, results-driven sales and a keen eye for new opportunities with excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Being attuned to the market, able to spot trends and customers’ needs and turn them into business opportunities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, while remaining attentive to client’s needs
  • Possess competent negotiation and communication skills
  • You’re described as open-minded, enthusiastic and confident, with excellent presentation skills
  • Experience coordinating and leading teams and meeting deadlines
  • Meticulous in details and follow up closely on project progress and status to ensure successful closure
  • Team player, who takes initiative
