Creating fragrances for consumer products demands a synergy of art and science. If you have industry sales experience, or related experience in specialty chemical, contract manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods, we would love to get to know you and explore your career aspirations.

 

Reporting to a Head of Sales, you will focus on innovation and have the opportunity to be like an owner and grow your business independently, but with support and in collaboration with your peers/team. This can be a remote role.

 

  • Business Development: Work in collaboration with creative and marketing teams to deliver growth at sustainable margins with the ultimate goal to be our clients’ fragrance house partner of choice. Use your customer-focused to manage projects while always looking for new opportunities. Use your experience balancing multiple clients and active projects while remaining attentive and responsive to clients’ needs.

 

  • Customer Influence: Create positive, insightful, winning relationships with clients at all levels (Fragrance Manager, R&D, Marketing, Procurement), aiming to understand their needs, challenges, and ways of working, and delivering innovative scent and business solutions for mutual success. Being attuned to the market, able to spot trends and unmet consumer and customers’ needs and turn them into business opportunities.

 

  • Relational Leadership: Bring a natural passion for sales, a high level of curiosity for knowing our business, and industry and consumer market knowledge to guide short/long-term growth. Establish collaborative and communicative relationships with our teams including Development, Marketing, Consumer Markets Insights, Science & Technology, Supply Chain, Production, and Regulatory. Leverage to guide briefs, succeed on all customer measurement targets, and achieve win rates to set us apart from our competitors.

 

You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related technical field.
  • 7+ years overall experience.
  • 3+ years functional/technical experience in fragrance & flavor industry
  • Competent olfactive knowledge with experience working with fragrances or fragranced consumer products
  • Understanding of customer dynamics, consumer trends, market dynamics and the industry landscape.
  • Have a growth mindset
