Quality Lab Analyst - Your future position? 

 

As a Lab Analyst at our East Hanover site, you will have an immediate impact in our Quality Control Lab. You will be tasked to perform sensory testing of flavoring products and ingredients with the purpose of determining a product's acceptability for internal use or customer delivery. 

 

You will: 

  • Evaluate products & incoming ingredients: Perform testing of ingredients, intermediates, and finished products in accordance with established methods. May make requests for simple fixes or resamples based on the outcomes of the evaluations. 
  • Identification of non-conformances: Identify and document non-conforming product and apply simple corrections, ask for resampling, or alert senior staff for more complex issues. 
  • Data entry and analysis: Input data into SAP and evaluate test data to assure consistency and conformance to specifications. 
  • Perform miscellaneous lab functions: Assist with filing of retain samples, CoAs, and GC folders. Prepare solutions, maintain lab supplies, dispose of liquid Hazardous waste, and perform basic equipment calibrations per frequency noted in calibration procedures.

Does your profile include the following: 

  • Associates degree with science course work required; 4-year degree preferred. 
  • Minimum of 1-year laboratory experience; manufacturing operations or related industry desired
  • Strong math skills
  • SAP or (some LIMS) experience is preferred
  • Communicate openly and be capable of thinking creatively, driving change, and achieving results

 

Technical Competencies 

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Must possess strong written and verbal English skills and be able to read and explain technical documentation to others
  • Must be able to communicate openly
  • Must have the ability to think creatively
  • Open to change and learning
  • Must have customer awareness
  • Have a desire to achieve results and be a team player
