Communicate market research projects and build consumer understanding in line with company's business objectives. As Associate CMI Manager in our Fragrance division, you will provide competitive-edge market analysis to support development and sales objectives in what is a very creative and sophisticated industry to build your market analysis and consumer knowledge. You will become a category expert and have the opportunity to share your knowledge with our clients. It could well be your perfect opportunity if you have a true passion for fragrances and are energized by drawing meaningful conclusions from large data sets. Located in our East Hanover, NJ location and reporting to the CMI Manager.

 

In this position you will:

  • Perform market research according to the regional or cross-regional projects developed by management.
  • Conduct Project Management of basic market research projects
  • Commissioning and Set-Up
  • Cost Management
  • Management and quality control of Field Forces
  • Management of Data Analysis
  • Share of results with internal stakeholders including evaluators, perfumers, marketing and sales, to guide fragrance development and selection and to help to build rationale to support our submissions.
  • Collect customer data regarding customer habits, purchasing history, previous, current and expected future needs.
  • Collect market data regarding competition activity, recent market developments, trends in the industry.
  • Analyse gathered data using statistic programmes and qualitative analysis tools.
  • Prepare results summary in the form of reports or presentations, translating complex findings into easy to read tables, charts and text.
  • Ensure CMI data is stored centrally and accessible for future reference.

Your professional profile includes:

  • University Degree/ Masters Degree (Marketing, Data Analysis, Statistic, Science)
  • 4+  years of experience in market research.
  • Proficiency in using common PC applications (MS Excel and Access essential), including data analysis software
  • Understanding of statistics - in-depth understanding of inferential and multivariate statistics and experimental design.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Understand the principles of qualitative and quantitative market research as applied to fragrance testing
  • Project Management
