Overview

As a Maintenance Supply Coordinator at Givaudan, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our maintenance activities. You will be responsible for coordinating the procurement and distribution of maintenance supplies, equipment, and spare parts. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

  1. Supply Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance teams to understand their supply needs and coordinate the timely procurement and delivery of maintenance supplies, equipment, and spare parts. Ensure that all supplies are readily available when needed to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  2. Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of maintenance supplies. Communicate any changes or delays in the supply chain to the appropriate parties and proactively address any issues that may impact maintenance operations.
  3. Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels of maintenance supplies to ensure optimal stock levels. Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to identify any discrepancies and take appropriate actions to reconcile inventory records.
  4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance supply orders, deliveries, and inventory levels. Generate reports on supply usage, costs, and trends to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with maintenance teams, warehouse personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and communication regarding maintenance supply needs. Act as a liaison between different departments to facilitate efficient supply chain operations.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the maintenance supply chain. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in supply chain management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in coordinating supply chain activities, preferably in a maintenance or manufacturing environment.

- Knowledge of inventory management principles and techniques.

- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data management and reporting.
