As an Application Lab Assistant in our Fragrance & Beauty Division Guangzhou Huangpu site, you will be responsible for preparation of fragrance applications in different bases meeting the needs of creative and development teams. In this exciting role you will:

• Prepare fragrance applications in different bases meeting the needs of creative and development teams under guidance, and ensure the quality, precision and accuracy thereof.
• Help in updating and revising of technical documentation in the department, under guidance.
• Manage customer base inventories.
• Help administer materials and laboratory organization.
• Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment.
• Administer sample requests and ordering fragrance oils.
• Operate and help maintain standard lab equipment.
• Perform physical-chemical measurements.
• Under supervision, provide technical support to Creative and Development teams and sales teams.
• Under supervision help solve problems in the application of fragrance to product and the improvement of existing products.

Your professional profile includes:

• Technical training or Higher Education Qualification in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or similar subject.
• At least 6 months of experience in related area
• Knowledge of Microsoft Applications
• Ability to communicate in English desirable
• Knowledge of good laboratory practice and safe handling of chemicals
• Accurate record keeping and attention to detail
• Basic Chemistry knowledge
• Understanding of ISO protocols
• Demonstrated proficiency in Givaudan-specific software applications
• Basic knowledge of lab equipment and its safe usage
• Good Communication skills
