Key Account Manager – Cosmetic Ingredients Business Guangzhou

As the Account Manager for Cosmetic Ingredients Business with Givaudan – the global leader in fragrance and flavor industry, this role is mainly responsible for delivering on the customer sales target and new win revenue targets established by the Cosmetic Management Team. In this exciting role you will:

 

Customer facing

  • To work closely with the distributor’s team, with frequent joint visits
  • Leading the promotion for strategic customers
  • Understanding assigned local key customers, translating into opportunities
  • Building relationships with assigned local key accounts to grow the business
  • Taking proactive approach to develop sales to potential customers
  • To work closely with Fragrance team, seeking new opportunities and to involve in new projects
  • To enhance Active Beauty's visibility and professional image as an active supplier

 

Internal

  • Proposing strategic commercial approach for the territories to the Management,
  • Acting as communication focal point for customer, facilitating flow of information to marketing and technical groups
  • Regularly reviews and delivers status reports on project progress
  • Win/loss analysis

Your professional profile includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, scientific background in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology…will be preferred,  Master’s degree a plus
  • Around 5 year relevant experience in Cosmetic related industry, 3-year min. as sales
  • Good written and verbal communication and listening skills in English.
  • Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and creative
  • Resourceful and enthusiastic problem solver
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Results-oriented, customer-focused, with a serious commitment to excellence
