Core Responsibilities
- Strategy deployment
- Supports the facilitation of Site strategy deployment and X-matrix. This includes to understand strategic business needs, organize workshop and apply performance management methods to meet site objectives.
- Supports the elaboration of continuous improvement roadmaps and coordinates and support tactical and operational plans implementation to meet local objectives.
- People Engagement
- Support in deploying delivering CI trainings to all teams.
- Enable everyone to actively share Good Practices (e.g. through active communication, newsletter)
- Capability Building
- Develop people by delivering training, coaching and mentoring for basic CI Methodologies
- Training includes CI Basics (5S, 8Wastes, Problem Solving), Yellow, Visual Performance Management, CI Maturity Assessment.
- Support to assess local capability gaps based on CIMA and develop and implement solutions with the Site Operations management to close these and to achieve final site objectives, e.g. trainings, resource changes, etc
- Problem Solving
- Coach local teams in applying effective problem solving (root cause analysis) through S-PS and E-PS
- Support team to identify problems that must be solved based on business priority via using right CI Methodology and Tools
- Lead key problem solving when requested
- Performance Management
- Set up and support the effective implementation of daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly performance management reviews at shift, department and site level including the definition of lagging and leading indicators
- Introduce and coach VPMS as a universal practice for everyone in the organization to manage day-to-day performance
- Continuous Improvement Maturity Assessment (CIMA)
- Support the CI Manager / Lead / Site or Business Unit to prepare the CIMA Assessment and follow up with the teams based on CIMA outcome
- Process Efficiency
- Train and coach teams in applying relevant CI tools and methodologies for improving Processes and Asset Efficiencies
- Challenge existing processes/practices and coach local teams in applying effective problem solving to develop solutions and initiate change.
- Work Standard
- Support process owners on maintaining and improving of CI related work standards, including 5S standards and OPL
- New technologies
- Proactively engage in developing and applying new CI methodologies in working
- Engage and support Automation and Digitalization transformation activities in site
Academic Background
University degree
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent is an advantage
Language requirements
- Good command both of oral and written English
- Local Language Requirement based on the Site
