Junior Key Account Manager - North

Junior Key Account Manager (Channel Sales) - North, Fragrances – Your next position?


As a dynamic Account Manager in our Fragrance Division, you’ll deliver rapid profitable sales growth of Givaudan’s products in the Northern region of India. Based in Gurgaon you will report to the Senior Key Account Manager and work in close coordination with channel partners in the region to expand the width and depth of Givaudan’s reach in the country. You will take our fragrances business to greater heights by introducing new products in new markets, catering to new customers.

In this position you will:

  • Manage the Channel sales: Maintain the exiting business and develop new business in the region of respective channel partners. Strengthen the relation with the key clients of channel partners. Work with Channel Partners and provide a collection of fragrances to them based on market needs which will result in business growth.
  • Sales Review: Participate and provide inputs in setting up the annual targets of channel partners. Perform a quarterly and annual sales review meetings with them, Identify the gaps if any and jointly achieve the targets.
  • Organise focus group meetings for the key clients of channel partner; visit/participate in the industrial trade fairs in case required.
  • Improve the bottom line: While focusing on growth of business you will also make conscious efforts to improve profitability.
  • You will be the link between the various internal functions at Givaudan (Development, Application, Technology, Marketing & Supply Chain) and the channel partners to ensure they obtain maximum value out of their relationship with us.
  • Grow business with winning relationships: Your focus will be to build business with the help of our channel partners who form a vital link between us and the vast Indian market. 
  • The job involves extensive travelling, meeting existing clients & exploring newer markets, customers and opportunities that are yet to be realized by Givaudan.

Your professional profile includes:

  • A university degree with a minimum of 5 years work experience in B2B or B2C business environment with an exposure to detergent, personal care and deodorants industry will be an added advantage.
  • Experience developing business through channel sales is important.
  • Experience handling small and medium manufactures will be added advantages.
  • Manage multiple dossiers, while remaining attentive to every client’s needs.
  • Prior experience in the Fragrance industry will be a significant advantage
