A Sales Manager with the global leader in this business and a key member of our Taste & Wellbeing South Asia Commercial team. This role based out of our Gurgaon office & would focus on markets in North India(Gurgaon, Haryana).

 

 Your future position?
    
We are currently looking for a ‘Sales Manager’ role in ourTaste & Wellbeing Sales team in South Asia to provide more intimate support for our existing & expanding customer base in India and increasing market share for our key Taste & Wellbeing solution offerings across categories – Beverages, Savoury, Sweet goods, Snacks, Dairy and Nutraceuticals. 

 

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced sales professional who can be an excellent addition to our creative and teamwork culture and preferably having a good knowledge of and network in the Indian Flavour, Food & Beverage sector.

 

You will be based in our Gurgaon office in India and report to the Sales Head. In this individual contributor role  you will develop business plans targeting Key & Strategic customers in North India, provide them with game-changing Taste & Wellbeing solutions and thereby help achieve Givaudan’s purpose and commercial objectives in India.

In this exciting role, you will 

  • Grow Givaudan business with designated Key & Strategic Accounts by managing topline and bottom line
  • Formulate a sales plan for your region, with month wise phasing and align the same with overall business  strat-egy in terms of the products, market segments and customers. 
  • Be responsible for sales & business development, collection, inventory planning , building a project pipeline with a set of direct accounts and distributors.
  • Report on sales and profit evolution at least once a month during the closure of the month. 
  • Develop an excellent understanding of customer potential through analysis of brand strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and competition
  • Cultivate and manage customer relationships within portfolio of accounts and distributors
  • Monitor customer and competitor activity and maintain customer information
  • Create a broad base of new business opportunities/projects and customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to help projects successfully cross the finish line
  • Lead negotiation on pricing agreements , manage credit,customer contracts, pricing, rebates, etc. for key ac-counts & distributors
  • Develop & Deliver internal and customer presentations

Your professional profile includes:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
  • Having a Management degree would be an added advantage
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in B2B or B2C Sales in Business Development or Key Account Management role(s),preferably with companies in the Flavours, Fragrances, Food, Beverage, Ingredients, Chemicals or Pack-aging sectors. 
  • Good knowledge of F&B customers, competition, and an existing network in India will be ideal. 
  • Oral and written proficiency in English.
  • Fluency in the local language would be an added advantage
  • Excellent business and commercial knowledge.
  • Good presentation and project management skills.
  • Ablility to travel frequently within the the designated market (50% of your time). 
  • Computer knowledge – MS Office and other relevant platforms
