Account Manager

Account Manager, Fragrances - Your future position?
Location: Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City
Reporting to: Country Manager, Vietnam


As an Account Manager with Givaudan, you will contribute to the growth of the account to lead and/or support local account strategies/lead local account plan and related activities. You will report directly to the Head of Sales - Vietnam (Fragrances) and in this exciting role you will:


  • Responsible for account management and business development for local accounts (local and global customers)
  • Provide outstanding service to the client on commercial and rally for differentiated support from the larger organization
  • Understand the total business which customers are operating (industry, competitors, supply chain and distribution, organization structure & client's various departments' role and needs, stakeholders, way of working)
  • Understand clients’ brand strategies, positioning, strengths & weaknesses
  • Leverage Givaudan resources/capabilities to create most relevant commercial opportunities with clients
  • Identify client's value chain and ultimately create value map strategies for own set of customers

Your professional profile includes:

  • University Degree in any discipline
  • 2-5 years of experience in Sales/Account Management function
  • Experience in Fragrance industry is preferred
  • Competent in computer software especially Excel File, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge in basic economics and financial matters will be an advantage
  • Good Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Presentation skills and analytical skills
  • Strategic Agility in Account Management and planning
  • Project management and negotiation skills
