Role Overview:
- This role supports the Fragrance Collection team in day-to-day operations. You will gain hands-on experience across multiple fragrance categories while learning key processes in fragrance assessment, sample preparation, and product evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fragrance Collection Support
- Assist the Fragrance Collection team with daily evaluation and operational activities across categories such as Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Hair Care, Fabric Care, Home Care, and Air Care.
- Main responsibilities include:
- Supporting the evaluation of fragrance submissions and market products
- Preparing visual presentations (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva) to support fragrance submissions and collections.
- Preparing fragrance submissions for customer projects, including:
- Preparing fragrance oil samples (new and repeat submissions)
- Coordinating with the Application Lab for illustration sample requests
- Managing the fragrance oil library by:
- Monitoring and replenishing oil stock
- Updating stock records (quantities, expiry dates)
- Recording fragrance collection data using PC applications
- Supporting product evaluation activities, including:
- Preparing samples according to evaluator or customer requirements
- Assisting with long-lasting performance tests
- Supporting triangle tests
Requirements:
- University degree, preferred related to chemical.
- Interest in fragrances or the consumer products industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in common PC applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Basic understanding of safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and eager to learn.
