Assistant Manager Sales Fragmented Markets in Indonesia - Your future position?

Being an Assistant Manager Sales Fragmented Markets in Givaudan, a company leader in the fragrance and flavour industry, you will support senior colleagues in development of sales plans and activities in order to implement the organization’s overall sales strategy for an assigned client group, according to company's business objectives. You will be located at Semarang and reporting directly to Key Account Manager Indonesia.

In this exciting role you will:

•    Grow Givaudan business within designated territory through prospecting and promoting flavours, offering from price list

•    Assist in tracking channel partner performance, Sales Planning and ensure sales activity is on schedule and meet sales target.

•    Cultivate and manage customer relationships within in the designated region and develop new accounts

  • Monitor customer and competitor activity and maintain customer information
  • Coordinate / assist with negotiating pricing agreements within guidelines and managing credit, pricing, rebates.

•    Assist in developing and delivering internal and external customer presentations

•    Implement promotional schemes for channel partners

Your professional profile includes:

  • University Degree in Food Science, or related area experience in Industry
  • Minimum 3 years’ functional/technical sales experience in food industry
  • Fluent in English and proficiency in common PC Applications
  • Understand key elements of Channel partner strategy including promotions/schemes.
  • Effectively uses KPIs to monitor performance for channel partners
  • Possess ability to generate new business
  • Basic understanding of customer strategy, initiatives, priorities, and launch processes
  • Basic understanding of competitor activities within the specified territory
