Maintenance Manager

About the Role


You will manage the inspection and maintenance of facilities, related infrastructure, electrical and mechanical equipment, and production machinery to ensure that the site runs operations without undesired disruptions and at capacity level. You will be based in Cuernavaca, Morelos and will report to the Site Operations Head.


You Will:


•    Provide input to the local Operations and Site business plan and related goals with regards to production capacity, schedule of essential maintenance activities, changes in equipment or technical spare parts inventory
•    Adapt and implement functional strategies locally and accomplish related tactical and operational plan
•    Lead a team of maintenance specialists which executes maintenance activities
•    Apply preventive maintenance plans and maintenance support to increase reliability of plant equipment and prevent business disruption
•    Contribute to financial budgets based on maintenance requirements regarding resources, materials and duration
•    Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance of installations, equipment
•    Identify and deploy improvements whether to correct non-compliant situations or improve productivity
•    Manage technical spare parts inventory to increase stock and dispose of obsolete materials
•    Select and manage suppliers inclusive of Engineering & Maintenance contractors
•    Provide support to engineering projects regarding operative procedures and equipment/installation trials
•    Implement the annual operating plan within approved budget
•    Ongoing improvement and development of Engineering Standards and Engineering Compliance Policies
•    Work with local Operations and regional/global E&M management teams and HR Business Partner(s) in developing a local pipeline for the function


You Have:


•    University Degree in Engineering
•    8+ years of overall work experience with technical background in manufacturing or plant operations environment
•    2+ years of experience in people management
•    Proficiency in industrialization and engineering projects including building, process installation and utilities, from design stage to hand-over
•    Good knowledge of VDM, Indicators, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and project controlling tools
•    Good knowledge of stakeholder management and communications
•    Good knowledge of process mapping and design
•    Good knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines
•    Good knowledge of financial concepts (e.g. OPEX, CAPEX) and tools (e.g. SAP)
•    Experience working with diverse cultures
