Transport and Trade Affairs Coordinator - Team Lea

Transports & Trade Affairs Coordinator, Your future position?

 

As a transport & trade affairs coordinator for our Taste & Wellbeing division based in Cuernavaca, you will work in the heart of supply chain and specialized in customs and trade affairs, help ensuring Givaudan is always compliant, from the import of raw materials to the export of finished goods. Advise on day to day compliance matters, instructing and training colleagues from various departments in procedures on customs and duties, and increasing organizational level of awareness.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for all the operational tasks in customs related activities within the organization (e.g. customs clearance of incoming goods, providing the instructions to the brokers, preparing import declaration entry)
  • Manage Tax Warehouse: inbound flow clearance, outbound flow monitor, follow up and daily management of all aspects of export compliance (e.g. close monitor of the export confirmations) and all aspects of import compliance (e.g. close control of the inbound flow and identification of the potential for improvement)
  • Ensure compliance with national legislation: execute weekly audits (e.g. Drug precursors), support with reports drafting and submission to Customs)
  • Carry out Drug precursor management
  • Contribute actively to Databases management and continuous improvement
  • Engage in networking and collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders.

 

People management

  • Oversee the execution of annual human resources processes within the site Customs & TA team and validates related results.
  • Work with the local and regional Supply Chain & Planning and Operations management as well as HR Business Partner(s) in developing a local talent pipeline.
  • Drive the development and promotion of Customs & TA talents within and outside Supply Chain & Planning and Operations at local level.

 

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g. Supply Chain, Business Administration, Trade Affairs)
  • +5 years of Supply Chain experience in an international organization.
  • +2 years of experience in people management
  • Fluent English
