Key Account Manager - Your future position?

As the Key Account Manager , you will play the role of a sales/business professional trained in assigned account management. You will be based in Kelana Jaya, Selangor while reporting to the Sales Manager.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Grow Givaudan business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines

  • Assist in tracking ADP(Account Development Plan) to ensure sales activity is on schedule and meets success criteria

  • Cultivate and manage customer relationships within portfolio of accounts

  • Monitor customer and competitor activity and maintain customer information

  • Assist in transitioning customer projects/new wins from scale-up to production

  • Assist with negotiating pricing agreements within guidelines and managing credit, pricing, rebates, etc. for key accounts

  • Assist in developing and delivering internal and customer presentations

 

Requirements:

  • University degree, science background will be plus

  • 5-6  years functional/technical sales experience in food ingredients or pharmaceutical/medical device industry

  • Understands key elements of ADP

  • Ability to develop basic ADPs for key customers

  • Effectively uses KPIs to monitor performance

  • Can identify and articulate value drivers for key customers

  • Possesses ability to generate new business, with assistance of experienced account professional

  • Basic understanding of customer strategy, initiatives, priorities, and launch processes

  • Basic understanding of competitor activities with key customers

  • Written and verbal command of English

  • Proficiency in common PC Applications

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, emphasizing teamwork, innovation, and execution.

  • Mature, independent, and proactive approach with strong project management skills.

  • Agile in a high matrix organization.
