Business Development Analyst (m/f/t)

As a Business Development Analyst you are part of the European Business Development Team that is focusing on strengthening and transforming customer relationships, partnerships, and business initiatives to foster collaboration, enhance agility and fuel business growth.

You will directly report to the Business Development Director.

 

In this exciting role you will:

Partnership/Startups

  • Oversee and analyse sales performance across sub-regions and segments, identifying improvement opportunities and maintaining an accurate and current partnership and start-up overview

  • Drive the establishment of an internal startup community of practice and develop communication strategies aligned with the Business Development Manager

  • Increase business and ecosystem understanding by following and reporting on relevant startup ecosystems, new players and competitive activities

Digital / Digital Transformation

  • Support Givaudan’s digitalisation journey by ensuring effective use and continuous improvement of key tools and processes

  • Drive adoption and optimisation of digital initiatives, ensuring effective implementation, reporting, and data-driven improvements.

  • Reporting and analysis of digital adoption in line with European needs and requirements

  • Lead organisation of regional, and liaise with the global, governance processes

  • Support the development and testing of customer-facing tools related to sustainability 

  • Be an ATLAS PowerUser for the Regional Innovation Team in Kemptthal

Customer Projects

  • Provide project coordination, follow up with contributors and ensure timely input from stakeholders.

  • Provide data, analysis and action recommendations (desk research: stakeholders, business context, etc.)

  • Produce insights reports in the targeted identification of potential new business opportunities through market analysis and landscaping

 

Your professional profile includes:

  • You have a background in business or commerce, ideally complemented by additional training in Business Administration, Marketing or a related area

  • Ideally with 1-3 years of experience in business development, innovation, or analytics preferably within an international environment (FMCG, food or chemicals)

  • Exposure to digital transformation projects, startup ecosystems, or sustainability initiatives is an advantage

  • Advanced command of Excel, Power BI or Salesforce, with the ability to manage complex data analysis and reporting

  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to transform complex data into persuasive stories and actionable insights

  • Fluency in German and English required
