Commercial Controlling Coordinator

As Commercial Controlling Coordinator you will support the Europe Commercial Controlling team with monthly reporting, analysis, KPIs, system preparation and general controlling activities to maximize sales and profitability. You will work with commercial teams and build relationships across all areas of the business. You will report directly to the Senior Controlling and Business Processes Manager.


This is a limited contract for 12 months.

You Will:

 

Qualitative reporting

  • Provide detailed, accurate financial reports and analysis
  • Monitor overall functional costs (OPEX & CAPEX) and perform FTE analysis
  • Work with Controllers and Sales/Marketing teams to provide financial and commercial insight and pro-actively address issues
     

Support commercial finance processes

  • Participate in monthly closing processes to ensure data integrity in our performance management systems/tools
  • Support the monthly sales data integration for acquisitions and annual budget processes
  • Contribute in the implementation and maintenance of guidelines and principles to ensure compliance
  • Provide support related to rebate contract management and calculations
     

Business partnering

  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Be a support for sales and marketing users and share best practices
  • Help prepare training for the commercial organization in the use of financial reporting systems to ensure control of the business
  • Build close working relationships across all departments and geographies
     

Desire to improve

  • Provide support across several projects including systems / process implementations to improve our business processes
  • Identify and implement improvements in the commercial reporting process which enables efficient and accurate monthly financial review
  • Address issues, suggest technical and process improvements in collaboration with global functions and Givaudan Business Solutions

You Have:

  • Commercial apprenticeship with federal diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting or Administration
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in the area of controlling, finance or accounting (experience in Manufacturing in Chemical, Pharma or FMCG Industry is an advantage)
  • First experience with financial statements and important financial concepts, solid theoretical background in finance and accounting
  • Used to work within a cross-cultural, international environment
  • Experience in analyzing numerical information, presenting conclusions and recommendations in a clear way
  • SAP (SD, CO, FI) and SAP-BI experience
  • Advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills
  • Hunger to learn and apply new skills
  • Fluency in English, German is an advantage
  • Service-oriented and collaborative mindset
