As Digital Transformation Program Manager you will develop the strategic vision of Taste and Wellbeing (T&W) future manufacturing processes and equipment. You will ensure the vision is embedded in the Operation's business plans and facilitate flawless execution.
You will be based in Kemptthal and report directly to the Head of Operations Taste and Wellbeing.
You will:
Own the Digital Strategy
- Collaborate with outside innovation partners such as suppliers, universities, and startups
- Develop the digital and innovation strategy for Operations T&W from now to 2035, aligned with the overall Operations strategy
- Articulate our vision of the factory of the future (ideal state)
- Support other strategic master programs within T&W Operations in their digital ambition
Manage the Digital Innovation Portfolio
- Develop the innovation management framework (Innovation projects funnel)
- Manage the innovation project portfolio
- Lead the governance around innovation projects in T&W Operations
- Bring existing good practices from T&W sites (grass roots ideas) to global governance
- Manage the budget for proof of concepts realization
- Ensure and coordinate that innovation solutions are ready for global deployment
- Align the innovation effort with the partners from other divisions, IT, and procurement
- Represent T&W Operations in digital-related projects and governance bodies
- Ensure digital transformation deployment on time and within budget
Promote Digital Innovation
- Build internal digital network (POCs, pilots, sandboxes, people), leverage innovation coming from across entire business
- Facilitate automation and digitization task forces
- Develop automation and robotics road maps for all T&W sites, together with the Manufacturing Excellence team and the Center of Excellence for Engineering
You have:
- Preferred Master's Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or food science
- Proficient in English, additional languages are an advantage
- 10 plus years of experience in an Innovation or Development role in process industry
- Strong track record in Project and change management
- Experience working with diverse cultures and multidiscipline specialists
- Enthusiast about making an impact in matrix organizations and passion to think beyond the obvious
- Good knowledge of food or chemical production
- High affinity for digital innovation
- Proficient in innovation management methodologies such as Design Thinking, Lean Startup, SCRUM, Hackathons
