As an Application Technologist Intern in the Product Development field for 6 months, you will be to be part of the EAME Savoury group, Flavours Division. You will be working on formulating new savoury products: plant based meat and cheese mimicking products, and applying new flavours / profiles.    You will be part of a supportive, diverse and responsible team which is already curious to meet you.   

 

This role is based in Kemptthal (Switzerland).

 

You will:

  • Prepare flavoured food products for customer projects, presentations or research projects
  • Select flavours for projects according to specified requirements (i.e., customer, regulatory,
  • legislation, technical costs)
  • Participate in evaluations of flavours in food applications for briefs, research projects and
  • portfolio evaluations 
  • Manage flavour data and recipe documentation for food products 
  • Maintain the flavour performance data for the flavour portfolio through evaluation in finished
  • product and capture of profiles 
  • Support tasting sessions and presentations to customers/visitors 
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized lab environment following safety policies
  • Collect information from the markets and external sources and prepare data

 

You:

  • Are in the process or have just recently completed a bachelor or master’s degree in the field
  • of food science
  • Have great Interest in Consumer-end Food products and Technology and the passion for
  • Food and Tasting new products
  • Proficient knowledge of English (spoken and written)  
  • Good sense of organization
  • Good Computer knowledge (Word, Excel)
  • Team-focused work style
