Internal Auditor

As Internal Auditor you will perform audits as a team member based on the annual audit plan to provide assurance on process risks and related controls and identification of leading practices and improvement opportunities. You will maintain the Follow-up Action Reporting System “FAR” and provide a semi-annual implementation status update. Moreover you will help prepare all partner presentations (Board of Directors, Audit Committee, Executive Committee, Divisional Management) and update internal audit guidelines, policies and procedures. You will be based in Kemptthal and reporting directly to the Head of Internal Audit.

You Will:


Internal Audit

  • Review business processes and/or projects to make sure they comply with policies, procedures, laws and regulations and that they are aligned with established plans and goals
  • Assess control environment to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial and non-financial information
  • Provide advice and support related to process effectiveness, risks, controls and governance
  • Share best practices with auditees
  • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
  • Update audit guide and risk and control matrix based on audit experience or agreement on process owner
  • Follow-up on the implementation of audit action plans and report implementation status to the Management of Internal Audit

Risk Management

  • Contribute to the improvement of risk management, controls and governance

Project Management

  • Provide improvement projects supporting the internal audit strategy
  • Accomplish special audits (e.g. specific process reviews) or projects on Board of Directors, Audit Committee or Executive Committee’s request

You Have:

  • Master/Bachelor's degree in science, business, finance, accounting or similar
  • 2+ years of financial and/or audit experience through public accounting/auditing (Big 4 a plus) and industry experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency managing stakeholders, negotiating and resolving conflicts
  • Proficiency in English and good oral in French and Spanish
  • Willingness to travel intensively (up to 65%) for audit purposes
  • International, multicultural working experience is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the Fragrance and Flavour industry is an advantage
  • SAP (SD, CO, FI) and SAP-BI experience
