As a Lab Technologist (m/f/d) you will support the Reaction Flavour development lab in the area of Maillard chemistry and thermal flavour formation by executing, and documenting lab experiments that align with our strategy and team goals.
You will be part of a supportive, diverse and responsible team which is already curious to meet you.
This role is based in Kemptthal (Switzerland) and will report directly to the Creation Team Leader.
You will:

Perform experiments and technical projects according to defined requirements in the area of food and flavour chemistry

Plan, implement and document workload with senior team members

Communicate experimental outcomes with our partners and support a working culture of sharing and collaboration

Contribute to lab reviews and come up with proposals to improve operational lab efficiency

Sustain performance and reliability of our lab assets by organising repair and maintenance

Collaborate on projects cross-functionally and between regions
-
Organize relevant flavour evaluations within the reacted Ingredient Development

Follow safe working procedures

Support up-scaling activities
You have:

Apprenticeship as chemical lab technician with a solid base in organic chemistry with a passion for flavours
-
Fluid in English - spoken and written. Basics in German expected

Ideally 2+ years of experience in a chemical related domain

Proficient in laboratory techniques and hands-on work

Feel easy with latest IT/computing applications

Demonstrate strong teamwork

Show ability to present conclusions to supervisor and propose actions

Willingness to adopt new lab working techniques and technologies

Eager to learn about food chemistry and show willingness to grow into the field of flavours
