As a Senior Product Developer Protein you will focus on alternative proteins and texture categories through projects and activities in this area. Your focus is the development of plant based products using our technologies and on the evaluation of new texturant solutions. You will support co-creation efforts in Kemptthal. You will be part of a growth-minded, insights-based team which is already curious to meet you.

This role is based in Kemptthal (Switzerland).


 
You will:

 

  • Focus on Alternative Proteins and Texture categories
  • Generate scientific knowledge of our ingredients’ performance in application and complex products
  • Develop products with the desired food experience using our technologies
  • Connect and communicate with technical peers and project stakeholders  

 
 
You have:
 

  • A Master or PhD in Food Science
  • + 5-10 years of  experience in the industry; or Masters in related area +10-15 years of experience
  • Expertise in product development of plant based proteins products, in particular dairy Alternatives
  • Understanding of ingredients functionalities in applications and processes
  • An excellent sense of smell and taste with a passion for flavour, taste and food
  • Good analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • The passion for writing and presenting the findings
  • Meticulous knowledge of food and flavour science and chemistry
  • Extensive knowledge of methods and scientific processes
  • The drive to Independently plan and execute technical projects
  • Effectively contributes to the development of research methods and technical planning
  • Good Knowledge of MS office
  • Good English communication skills
