As an Intern in Givaudan Sense Texture you will be working in the Science and Technology Department. You will assess the functional and rheological properties of several biopolymers and their combinations as potential replacers of non-clean label ingredients. You will be part of a growth-minded, insights-based team which is already curious to meet you.
 
This role is based in Kemptthal and limited for 6 months.

You will: 

  • Evaluate and optimize (potentially using design of experiments statistical methodology) novel clean label ingredients and blends thereof for meat analogue applications (50%)
  • Perform literature landscaping on physical chemistry and emulsification mechanisms and establish state of the art characterization methods to optimize and develop new on Texturizing and emulsifying solutions in collaboration with the main scientist and other team members (25%)
  • Characterize the textural and rheological properties of new texturizing and emulsifying ingredients using several state of the art methods and techniques (25%)


You:

  • Are a master student in food science, food technology or similar
  • Have first experience working in a laboratory 
  • Have good english skills
  • Are interested to write a master thesis with us
  • Are a self-starter, autonomous, detail oriented
  • Enjoy working in teams
